Johnson County CWIP

Much effort is put into our CWIP. We are constantly evaluating our programs, and our content. We use powerpoint for our lectures that organize and additionally explain the topics. We offer pictures for examples, short video clips to enhance the topics, and handouts for people to follow along. We follow the educational model that if you see it, hear it, and write it -- you learn. Because we update our materials they are never "dated".

VISION - In the last decade we have seen psychotropics rule the top spots of the list for prescribed drugs. We see Prozac, Xanax, Abilify, Lexapro, etc. sit in these top spots. In addition to statistics on drugs/alcohol and family to substance use by teenagers we know that America is facing an epidemic. Both Phoenix and A Connecting Pointe are fighting this epidemic.

There is no smoking at CWIP, but you are encouraged to bring nicorette gum or the patch.
